Who We Are: Zulu Dancers


Second graders are inquiring about art around the world.  During a lesson exploring human form, students watched YouTube videos of South African Zulu dancers and created their own dancing Zulu person.

How the World Works: How Art Works!

4th grade students examined the evolution of art.  Here, they made art inspired by cave drawings.  It was a great lesson to teach about drawing symbols. We used oil pastels, crumpled our paper, dipped it in watered-down tempera paint, and hung it to dry!
